Our Story

Welcome to Sol Solecito! We are a leading daycare center that has been serving families in Arlington since 2018. What began as a family daycare with a capacity for six children has grown into something truly remarkable.

In 2020, we expanded our team by adding a dedicated assistant, allowing us to increase our licensed capacity to accommodate ten children, especially during the challenging times of the pandemic. Our commitment to providing exceptional care and educational opportunities has been the driving force behind our growth.

At Sol Solecito, we prioritize continuous improvement in early education. Our team has invested in acquiring higher education and certifications in this field, ensuring that we offer the best learning experiences to our young learners. As the Director, I, Nelly Mayorga, have personally supported my team in their educational development to enhance their skills and expertise.

With 27 years of experience in early childhood education, I began my vocation as a teacher in my native country, Colombia. Upon immigrating to the United States, I had the privilege to continue my passion as a preschool teacher in an educational center in Arlington, MA, starting in 2014. Later on, I opened my family child daycare in the city of Arlington, laying the foundation for Sol Solecito.

Today, we are excited to announce the launch of Sol Solecito Spanish Immersion Learning Center, marking a new chapter in our journey. We are committed to creating a nurturing and immersive environment where children can learn and grow while developing their language skills in both, English and Spanish.
